It's 2012 and the Australian government has reinstated prohibition. A vigilante whisky distiller, Chuck (Trevor Alston), tries to get his life back on track after the only profession he has ever known is outlawed.
80 PROOF was my first feature film. I used my "film school money" and instead decided to buy a RED camera, sound gear, editing computer, lights and just went ahead and made my own feature film.
This movie was essentially crewed by only two people, my good friend David Arens and myself. I handled everything visual and Dave handled everything to do with sound.
We learned so many lessons on this project and I can't wait to start the next one.
